February wasn’t a typical month for me. My days were spent working on cover letters in sweats with my hair in a messy bun and my face was make-up free. February was not a month for trying out new products so I had to get creative with my February Favourites.
FASHION & BEAUTY
Never underestimate the power of a messy bun! When you are sitting in front of a computer and you know that you need to focus – nothing puts you into business mode like a messy bun.
I know it sounds weird, but when you spend your days in sweats, putting on a pair jeans feels like dressing up! Since most of my time has been spent at home, the opportunity to put on jeans and a nice top becomes the highlight of my month. As always, American Eagle jeans remain my absolute favourite.
FOOD & DRINK
Tetley Earl Grey & Vanilla Tea
This tea is absolutely delicious! I like my tea sweet and normally add a bit too much sugar but with the vanilla flavour of this tea, the extra sugar isn’t needed.
While reorganizing my kitchen I found my blender that had been missing in action for a few months now. I forgot how much I loved a good smoothie!
* Keep an eye out for a post in the near future of my absolute favourite smoothie recipes!

Refill Enclosed Spiral Notebook by Indigo
A planner is only one of the many tools required for effective organization. When studying throughout university I always wrote out all of the notes in order to learn the material. I’ve applied this method to my cover letter writing In order to learn what the job entails I have to write out the job description. I find this useful when completing cover letters because I don’t need to flip back and forth between tabs. I have the cover letter on the screen in front of me and the job description in my notebook beside me!
My mom got me a beautiful notebook from Chapters for Christmas that I instantly fell in love with. The biggest issue with a beautiful notebook is knowing that one day you will use that last page. That’s why I was over the moon when I discovered that this notebook is reusable! All you have to go is purchase a refill notebook and place it in the cover – easy as pie.
